V-COMM, a leading telecommunications engineering firm, was hired by Parsippany, New Jersey to design and oversee the installation of a multi-site P25 radio network.

V-COMM will be integrating a new system into four existing sites and constructing a new 180-foot monopole, uniquely designed for Parsippany’s public safety communications network.

Parsippany’s police department began utilizing the new P25 network in November 2020, with Fire and EMS departments joining in early 2021.

“V-COMM’s highly competent team helped guide us through this process to improve radio communications for all of our first responders,” said Captain John Wieners, Municipal Coordinator for Parsippany’s Office of Emergency Management.

“We always take great pride in designing and installing public safety systems for our first responders,” said Dominic Villecco, president of V-COMM. “This new system will allow for increased coverage and capacity for Parsippany’s first responders.”
