DAMM helped overcome the challenging topography of Lima, Peru
Local System Partner, Dolphin Telecom, has successfully built the network over the last years and plans further expansions in both capacity and coverage to enhance the service offering.

During the last 6 months the network was expanded with 20 sites. Challenges such as need for enhanced coverage in tunnel areas and indoor locations were easily overcome utilizing the DAMM decentralized IP-based architecture, easy mountable outdoor BS421 base station in connection with directional antennas.

Mr. Javier Sanchez, CEO of Dolphin Telecom states: “We have today ensured Lima a comprehensive first responder network using the DAMM TetraFlex® decentralized and intelligent network. With the open API in DAMM TetraFlex®, it was easy for us to enhance the application services including AVL tracking, Fleet management, and advanced alarm solutions. Communication means the difference between life and death, and the high reliability of DAMM has proven its worth. With DAMMs solution, we have deployed the most reliable, secure first responder network in Peru”

CCO of DAMM, Allan Detlefsen states: “We consider the development in Latin America a great achievement, and we see more and more operators worldwide moving into the PMR business. Following the success with TETRA, we have launched the new DAMM Multi-Tech Platform featuring 4 technologies in one box, TETRA, DMR Tier III, TEDS and Analog. Especially relevant for the operator business is the new Multi-Carrier feature; a flexible, cost-efficient solution enabling 4 carriers in one box, and even combining multiple technologies in one box.”
