Hytera's TETRA/TEDS solution will be fully integrated with a modern 105 Central Emergency and Video Surveillance system acquired by the National Police of Peru.

Hytera played a leading role at the recent Critical Communications Latin America event held at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil on July 1-3, 2013, exhibiting its latest product offerings and taking part in a number of presentations and discussions during the 2-day conference.

Hytera Mobilfunk's Head of TETRA for the Americas, Peter Clemons, chaired the event as well as delivering two presentations in Portuguese: the first comparing PMR technologies currently in use in Latin America and the second evaluating appropriate Business Models for critical communications networks. Peter Clemons also took part in a lively Panel Discussion looking at future Mobile Broadband requirements for Critical Communications users in Latin America.

Hytera Mobilfunk's Luis Perez presented Latin America's first TETRA Release 2 - TEDS - network which has been deployed in Lima, Peru for the National Police of Peru. Hytera's TETRA/TEDS solution will be fully integrated with a modern 105 Central Emergency and Video Surveillance system acquired by the National Police of Peru. Hytera is therefore leading the way with its advanced technology in the Latin American TETRA market.

Building on the success of this event, Hytera will also be exhibiting at next month's largest Latin American public safety event, Interseg, which takes place at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 18-20, 2013.
