Hytera Mobilfunk hires respected industry expert, Peter Clemons to take charge of TETRA business across the Americas

Bad Münder, Germany, May 2013 - Hytera Mobilfunk, a leading global supplier of products and solutions for professional mobile radio (PMR) has hired next-generation consulting firm, Quixoticity’s Managing Director, Peter Clemons, to take charge of its TETRA business in both North and Latin America.

Recent data from IMS Research clearly shows that TETRA sales continue to grow world-wide, as new markets are opened up to the ETSI standard and more industry segments recognize the benefits of secure, reliable, feature-rich TETRA technology for their critical communications needs. This is particularly the case in Latin America, where emerging economies are deploying TETRA to satisfy the most stringent security requirements. Following recent regulatory changes in USA and Canada, North America is also now open for TETRA business and is expected to be the fastest growing TETRA market over the next 3-5 years and beyond.
