Motorola Solutions Inc, forsees vast growth potential in Malaysia through various government economic initiatives.
Motorola solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd Country President Mohd Rauf Nasir said Malaysia would continue to play a major role as the regional base for the global company, with many of Motorola's regional centres located locally.
Motorola solutions has been a key industry player in Malaysia helping to shape the communication landscape for the past 37 years.

Motorola's largest research and development (R&D) centre and manufacturing plant for radio products in Asia is Penang.

The centre also provides critical system support and solutions development for customres across Asia.
A world-class Asia Pacific Technical Support and Call Centre is also located at the R&D site to service countries across Asia.
"That makes Malaysia a larger part of our global company;s daily operations. WE are lucky as all of our support centres are in Malaysia. non of our competitors in equipment manufacturing has a local precence here, which makes us even more special," Mohd Rauf said.
He said Motorola solutions was focussed on offering TETRA )TErrestrial Trunked Radio) industry leading communications solutions to its customers in the oil and gas and transportation industries, railways or metros, seaports and airports he said.
Under the rail and metro transportation segment, the Express Rail link ues our train radio communications solutions.
"Current initiatives driven under the ETP such as imprioving urban transportation iunder the greater KL/Klang Valley wil ltransform, improve the greater Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area to be on par with that of a developed city.
