TCCA’s "TETRA in Brazil" will take place in the city of Recife and Porto Alegre.

Together with the TETRA + Critical Communications Association (TCCA)’s CEO, Phil Kidner, Peter Clemons will open and close these one-day conferences and exhibitions which will allow attendees to catch up on all the latest developments in the TETRA and PMR industry in Brazil and around the world.

Brazil matters. It is the world’s fifth largest country by both geographical extension and population and its sixth largest economy (nominal GDP - 2011). It is home to the world’s largest rainforest and most voluminous river. It is a country of immense biodiversity, rich ethnic diversity and technological innovation. It makes up one of the 21st century’s most dynamic, emerging economies known as the BRICS. It is also - uniquely - preparing to host the world’s two largest sporting events: the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games.
On July 17th, TCCA’s TETRA in Brazil will take place in the North-East region at the Hotel Golden Tulip Recife Palace, Recife and two days later, on July 19th, at the Sheraton Porto Alegre Hotel in the southern city of Porto Alegre. Both cities will be hosting football matches during the 2014 World Cup.

The TETRA + Critical Communications Association has been organizing successful events in Brazil for a number of years now.  There are already a large number of TETRA and other digital PMR networks across Brazil with significant growth expected over the coming months and years, as the nation prepares to take the global centre stage. This will require increased security and public safety measures, such as the latest professional communications solutions, including mobile broadband.

QUIXOTICITY’s Managing Director, Peter Clemons has been a regular visitor to Brazil since the 1980s and a keen observer of the country’s PMR market since 1998. As a former TCCA Board Member & Director and current member of a number of the Association’s working groups, Peter values TCCA’s global activities and is keen to help out at as many events as possible around the world. Having been set up in March 2012, QUIXOTICITY became a full member of TCCA the following month. Together with TCCA’s CEO, Phil Kidner, Peter Clemons will open and close these one-day conferences and exhibitions and introduce a wide range of speakers from the world of TETRA and PMR, who will update attendees on all the latest industry developments both in Brazil and globally.

“It’s a real pleasure for me to be returning once more to Brazil. TCCA’s Brazilian events have always been well attended in the past and I expect this to be the case again at such an important and exciting time for the critical communications industry in the country. TCCA is lining up an excellent list of presenters and we are visiting the North (Recife) and South (Porto Alegre) of the country for the first time,” explains Peter Clemons, Managing Director, QUIXOTICITY.

“We’re pleased to be back in Brazil at this important time for the country and pleased to have such a knowledgeable TETRA expert and Portuguese speaker as Peter to help us out at these events. We are looking forward to some interesting discussions about the current and future state of the industry in Brazil,” adds Phil Kidner, CEO, TCCA.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find out more about the future of TETRA and critical communications in Brazil and the world. See you in July!
