Airbus Public Safety and Security has shared new insights into the role of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) in the evolution of mission-critical communications. As the international body responsible for defining mobile telecommunications standards—from 3G to 5G and beyond—3GPP provides a globally interoperable framework that underpins reliable, secure, and resilient communication solutions.

For over a decade, Airbus has actively contributed to 3GPP working groups, helping shape the development of standards that support interoperability across diverse systems.
