SEE Telecom received a delegation from NESIC for a Factory Acceptance Test of the TETRA ATEX repeaters of the MC-DIRRAC model.

A delegation from NESIC Networks & System Integration Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd. visited SEE Telecom in Nivelles on February 19, 2024. The purpose of their visit was to conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of a batch of ten TETRA ATEX repeaters of the MC-DIRRAC model, which were to be installed on oil industrial sites within the ARAMCO group in Saudi Arabia.

The MC-DIRRAC, a compact multichannel digital repeater from SEE Telecom, improves radio frequency (RF) coverage in confined spaces in order to strengthen critical comunications with a broad coverage capability and no near-far effect. The repeaters are managed and controlled via SNMP, SCADA, Ethernet, or a web browser, and are simple to implement.

Each of the ten repeaters underwent individual testing. Also training on its operation was provided during the FAT.

This one-of-a-kind product ensures TETRA radio coverage remains uninterrupted in the most hazardous environments containing explosive atmospheres.
