The format will be based around the outcome of the BroadWay project and related activities with the aim to inform policy towards the realisation of BroadNet and Operational Mobility:

The ability for responders to carry out their life saving and crime fighting operations, using mobile broadband communication:

            • Wherever they are

            • Whenever they need to

            • and working with whoever they are tasked to cooperate (not limited by borders)

The morning will be a public event allowing for Q&A with BroadWay, related projects and DG Home representatives. The afternoon will be by invitation of DG Home only.

This is a chance to come along and help shape European policy to support the future of Operational Mobility.
