At BAPCO, integrated messaging specialist Multitone Electronics will demonstrate its solution that supports effective communications in Britain’s more remote areas and coastlines, which lack reliable coverage

One of the key conference themes for discussion at this year’s BAPCO Annual Conference & Exhibition in Coventry, is the delivery of the government’s Emergency Services Network (ESN). This is a critical communications system to replace the current and ageing Airwave Network.
One of the most significant challenges confronting ESN is the ability to ensure effective communications in Britain’s more remote areas and coastlines, which lack reliable coverage; a situation which has life-critical implications.

At BAPCO, integrated messaging specialist Multitone Electronics will demonstrate its solution to this problem: a blend of technologies to cover all possible eventualities: critical communications which work in the heart of a busy city, in the severest storm at sea or the most remote location.

The company is a pioneer in wireless technology, as well as being one of the world’s leaders in modern paging. The bespoke cross-network solutions on display will include hosted and internal network products, such as tailored smart app devices and modern radio pager solutions. Emergency service organisations will learn how to gain total confidence in their ability to maintain 24/7 communication across the ESN, especially in the event of an interruption or blind spot in the public cellular network.

Peter Lomax, Multitone’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, said: “The UK’s emergency services are at the frontline of ensuring public safety. It is therefore essential that they can rely on highly resilient, integrated messaging solutions to ensure a rapid speed of response, saving time, money – and most importantly lives. We are proud of Multitone’s long history of supporting Britain’s critical communications services. Please come and discover how we are helping the blue light services to face the challenges of the new decade.”

Multitones solutions can be deployed to leverage any and all communication networks, removing single points of failure, ensuring resilient multi-layered critical communications for team members at all times.

Multitone’s friendly and knowledgeable team of experts will be on hand throughout the two-day exhibition on Stand F20, to demonstrate how the company’s communications technology can help emergency services organisations to communicate more easily and efficiently to ensure the highest ever levels of public safety.
