Hytera Validates MCX Solution and 5G MCX Ecosystem at ETSI 10th MCX Plugtests
At the recently concluded ETSI 10th MCX Plugtests, held from 18 to 22 May 2026 in Sophia Antipolis, France, Hytera, a leading global provider of critical communications technologies and solutions, validated the interoperability of its complete MCX solution in multi-vendor mission critical communications scenarios and demonstrated the eMBMS capability of its MCX Client with other vendors' MCX Servers.
Hosted by ETSI, the event brought together more than 240 participants from global vendors, operators, and industry stakeholders to validate the interoperability of 3GPP Mission Critical Services over live 4G and 5G networks. Hytera participated with its latest Hytera HyTalk MC 6.1, comprising the MCX Application Server (MCX AS) and MCX Client, together with its PNC560 and PNC660 5G user equipment, MCX Dispatcher, and CZT902N 5G Railway CabRadio. The validation demonstrates Hytera's continued commitment to 3GPP standards, open interoperability, and reliable mission critical communications for public safety, transportation, utilities, and other business- and mission-critical users in complex multi-vendor scenarios.
A key highlight of Hytera's participation was the demonstration of its eMBMS demo with other vendors' servers, showcasing efficient multimedia broadcast capabilities for mission critical scenarios. eMBMS is especially valuable when the same voice, video, or data content needs to be delivered simultaneously to multiple users, helping optimize network resources during major incidents, large-scale operations, or high-density field deployments.
As the latest version of Hytera's Mission Critical Services platform, Hytera HyTalk MC 6.1 focuses on 3GPP Release 18 capabilities and is designed to meet the evolving requirements of mobile network operators. Supporting MCPTT, MCVideo, and MCData services, Hytera HyTalk MC 6.1 enables operators to deliver secure, prioritized, and highly reliable broadband mission critical services over LTE and 5G networks.
Hytera HyTalk MC has already been deployed in 25 countries and regions, serving a wide range of industries including telecommunications operators, public safety, energy, mining, rail transit, government affairs, and commerce and industry. These deployments demonstrate the solution's proven adaptability across diverse operational environments and its ability to support users with secure, reliable, and standards-based mission critical communications.
Following the ETSI 10th MCX Plugtests, Hytera will showcase Hytera HyTalk MC at Critical Communications World 2026, taking place from 16 to 18 June at ExCeL London. Visitors are invited to experience Hytera's latest innovations in mission critical broadband communications, including MCX services, 5G devices, dispatching capabilities, broadband multimedia applications, and Intelligent Mobile Enforcement Solution.
