Coordinating the safe transportation and security of more than 12,500 football fans traveling from Deventer to Rotterdam for the KNVB Cup Final presented a significant operational challenge. With 205 buses on the move and thousands of supporters converging on the stadium, reliable, real-time communication was critical to ensuring safety, traffic coordination, and smooth event management.

This responsibility was led by Vigilans Group, the Dutch security team tasked with on-site operational coordination. To support their mission, Flash Private Mobile Networks partnered with GroupTalk to provide a secure and scalable Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) communication solution.

As festivities continued in Deventer, the system was rapidly scaled to accommodate additional users, providing uninterrupted service with pre-configured devices and expanded capacity.
