Druid Software to Participate at the 9th MCX Plugtest

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

This February, a week before MWC Barcelona will take place, Druid will participate in the 9th MCX Plugtest.

Organized by ETSI, with support from the Critical Communications Association (TCCA) and the Union Internationale des Chemins de fer (UIC), this event will bring together leading vendors in mission critical communication systems at Texas A&M University, College Station on February 24–28 this year.

At the core of this initiative is a shared objective: ensuring that mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT), video, and data services work seamlessly across different vendors’ solutions. Therefore, all the participants will rigorously test interoperability and verify full 3GPP compliance across a diverse ecosystem of products and solutions.

During the plugtest, Druid Software will provide both its 4G and 5G Raemis™ cores, along with expert technical support, to facilitate seamless integration and thorough testing.

Druid stated:

At Druid, we recognise that seamless connectivity is the backbone of mission-critical operations. By participating in MCX Plugtests, we, along with our MCX partners, are committed to delivering robust, interoperable, and future-ready solutions that enable organisations to operate with confidence, focusing on their critical tasks without communication concerns. Together, we are shaping the future of mission-critical communications—where reliability & high-performance aren’t an expectation, but a guarantee.
