Royal Schiphol Group Joins EUWENA

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

As Chairman of EUWENA and, as a former employee of Air France-KLM, Christian Regnier this week announced that the Royal Schiphol Group is joining the European Users Wireless Enterprise Network Association (EUWENA).

The Royal Schiphol Group is an airport company that owns and operates Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam Airport The Hague and Lelystad Airport.

Regnier stated: "This is very good news following the launch of the "Mainports" theme within EUWENA. I remain convinced, as do EUWENA members, that these private networks are a real mine of improvements for airport (and ports) processes, and that it is also a sector that has the highest number of use cases for these private mobile networks and therefore the most attractive ROI. I would therefore like to thank the Royal Schiphol Group for its confidence in EUWENA, and I remain convinced that EUWENA's future actions will fully meet the Group's expectations, particularly with regard to spectrum harmonisation in Europe."
