FirstNet is Connecting More First Responders Across Pennsylvania

FirstNet, have moved quickly to bring more coverage, boost capacity and drive new capabilities for Pennsylvania first responders and the communities they serve – rural and urban.

Jim Mullen, the FirstNet, Built with AT&T team leader in Pennsylvania, highlighted FirstNet, Built with AT&T at the PA NENA 2022 annual conference in State College.  Pennsylvania NENA is a local chapter of the National Emergency Number Association. During his presentation, Mullen discussed the great progress that’s been made since his first appearance at the conference in 2017 where he introduced FirstNet to the attendees.

First responders in more than 500 communities across Pennsylvania are using FirstNet, Built with AT&T to stay mission ready. Since launching FirstNet, we’ve expanded our coverage across the Commonwealth with Band 14 deployed on nearly 2,000 sites, Pennsylvania first responders in communities statewide are currently benefitting from the truly dedicated coverage and capacity it provides when they need it.
