SmartPTT announced that SmartPTT PLUS 9.7.1 is now released and available for download on MOL (Motorola Online). The updates include IP cameras support, upgraded Web Client, enhanced Cross Patching, and more. SmartPTT significantly expanded the functionality of the SmartPTT Web Client. Access to the Web Client is much easier now, as users don’t need to install the audio proxy software on the computer. In SmartPTT PLUS 9.7.1 we also added dispatcher profile support into the Web Client to manage user permissions and restrictions. Voice calls are now available in the Web Client in SmartPTT PLUS systems. Among other Web Client new features, there are cross patching, emergency alarms, and custom console configuration. With integration to the Avigilon Control Center (ACCTM) 7 video management software, the new SmartPTT version supports Avigilon IP cameras by Motorola. Now dispatchers can see the available cameras on the map in SmartPTT. Choosing the desired camera, the SmartPTT dispatcher can view what is happening over there to gain better situational awareness.

Upgraded SmartPTT dispatcher authentication, automatic gain control, improved cross patching, and more other features are available now in SmartPTT PLUS 9.7.1. This release also supports permitted field radios to interrupt voice transmissions from a dispatcher as well as other Motorola Firmware M2020.01 features.
