Hytera Communications Received CFIUS Clearance for Its Acquisition of the US Business of Sepura

Hytera Communications Corporation Limited announced that as of 13 July 2018 it has received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) for its indirect acquisition of PowerTrunk Inc, a US subsidiary of Teltronic S.A.U, which was owned by UK based Sepura Plc.

The CFIUS clearance follows similar approvals received in the United Kingdom and Germany for Hytera’s acquisition of Sepura.

As Hytera's subsidiaries, Sepura focuses on TETRA terminals in public safety sector, and Teltronic focuses on TETRA System and TETRA-LTE solutions for mission-critical applications.
