The new M85 radio is ideal for yacht and commercial marine operations and uses VHF marine and land mobile channels.

ICOM announced that it has launched a new hybrid Radio for Land and Sea communications. The new marine/land mobile radio combo is built to MIL-STD 810 standard, with an IP67 waterproof rating radio. It can withstand hazardous and inhospitable environments at sea and on land. The rugged M85 also is capable of swapping between marine and land mobile channel groups with the programmable multi-function button.

For such a compact and light radio, the M85 is full of marine and land mobile features. This radio has up to 100 programmable land mobile channels, automatic emergency alarm and a built-in voice scrambler for private communications. The M85 user-friendly display contains icons and indicators like transmit power, VOX ON/OFF, battery status, scan, weather channel and more, improving the user-experience. Plus the M85 packs a punch with its powerful 700mW audio.
