Communications International Completes Upgrade of Dispatch Operations in Chowan County, NC

Chowan County’s customized dispatch solution features Harris Symphony consoles. The Symphony consoles utilize Harris’ advanced VIDA Core technology to ensure better system redundancy and dependability. The County’s new system and enhanced infrastructure provides them with more reliable communications as well as interoperability with the North Carolina P25 Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders (VIPER) system. Additionally, it supports P25 Phase 1 and 2, enabling additional growth and flexibility well into the future.
