Chinese Police Agency Selects DMR Tier 3 from Hytera

A joint-force anti-terrorist drill, staged in Changsha, the capital city of China’s Hunan province, by metro police, emergency response and medicine departments officially commenced the operation of a new MTR line. The professional communications system installed by Hytera offers seamless coverage and dispatching to metro police department for routine management, including the joint-force drill.

The system is the first Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier 3 trunking system adopted by metro police, a professional division of general police force.

Hytera provides a complete DMR Tier 3 trunking system to Changsha Metro police network, which not only ensures seamless communications among control center, dispatcher and driver but also realizes communications with existing systems and automatic roaming. This system will also supply a safe dispatching environment for metro police when they are in an emergency.
