Scott Skibness has been an integral part of Tait’s growth in the last decade and is a welcomed resource to the leadership team in the Americas, said Victor Agnellini, president, Tait Americas.

Scott Skibness was appointed vice president of sales for Tait Communications’ Americas and will be responsible for managing Tait’s direct and indirect sales teams. The new appointment will increase the global company’s capacity to grow in public-safety and utilities sector.

Skibness has been an integral part of Tait’s growth in the last decade and is a welcomed resource to the leadership team in the Americas, said Victor Agnellini, president, Tait Americas.

“Scott brings considerable industry experience to his new role having worked as Tait Americas’ strategic sales manager for the last four years in addition to previous sales roles at Tait,” Agnellini said. “He has helped the company become a leading provider of trunked network radio solutions to electric utilities and public-safety agencies.

“Scott’s knowledge is also well respected in the critical communications industry as he is a regular speaker at the annual IWCE and APCO [Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials] International trade shows.”

Skibness previously held senior level positions at VisionTEK, Aether, Cerulean, Ericsson and GE. He is a council member for Gerson Lehrman Group Technology Council where he provides information on industry trends, particular products and services, or important developments to other business and investment leaders.
