TRBOWEST application capabilities are now greatly enhanced with the addition of Mototrbo Anywhere. Mototrbo Anywhere allows radio users to communicate with smartphone users on an easy to use Android or iOS app.

The TRBOWEST crew has been busy this summer, adding 5 additional sites to expand the network into Eastern Washington & Idaho, the Gorge, and Central Oregon and now includes 35 total sites. In addition they’ve added increased system capacity in Seattle and the Willamette Valley, and upgraded microwave links at four key sites to provide resilient connectivity. The seamless digital network now provides coverage of 95% of the population base in Washington, and 90% in Oregon.

Lane Falkner, Communications Systems Manager, Day Wireless Systems:

“We have recently deployed an IP Console and Cellular to Radio integrated system for one of our clients. What this does for them is allow dispatchers (all 8 of them) to interface their fleet through a PC based computer and have the option of using their smart phone to talk directly to their personnel. The console expands options as it records in and out bound conversations for quick recall of data incoming from the field. They also use the “Missed Call Log” to return calls during busy times. The dynamic cell phone app allows them to leave their desk and retain immediate ubiquitous communication as well. Since these technologies are built specifically for our TRBOWEST platform it is a very simple addition.”
