TRBOWEST Digital Network adds 2 Additional Sites

The TRBOWEST digital two-way radio network consists of 13 mountaintop sites, spanning over 400 highway miles from the Canadian border to south of Eugene, Oregon.

TRBOWEST recently added two additional sites, Dog Mountain in Washington, and Mt. Ashland in Southern Oregon. The Dog Mountain site adds coverage along HWY 12 from Randle, WA to I-5. The Mt. Ashland site will add coverage on I-5 from Yreka, CA through Medford, up to Gold Hill, OR. The footprint of the system now runs from the Canadian border in Washington State to Yreka, CA. In addition, TRBOWEST also added 3 robust PTP800 microwave links from various sites which will improve connectivity & reliability.
