Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has become a member of the Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Association, a global organization that supports the innovation and adoption of the global DMR standard via the creation of new devices and services.

Established in 2005, the DMR Association focuses on interoperability testing and certification, coordinating with regulators and standards organizations worldwide to develop a favorable environment for DMR networks and increasing awareness about the DMR standard. As the newest member, Harris will join forces with the DMR Association to provide to the community reliable, long-term communications solutions that offer a combination of high performance, high functionality and consumer-friendly capabilities.
