Scout’s product architecture design with an Ethernet connection directly to the MOTOTRBO Connect Plus and IP Site Connect systems.

Motorola Solutions partners from across North America will gather in Schaumburg, Ill., for a series of training seminars, Motorola product previews,  and breakout sessions with independent software vendors (ISVs). Focusing on government and enterprise partners, the three summits will be held: 10/18-10/19 (Eastern Region), 10/24-25 (Central & Canada Region), and 11/8-11/9 (Western Region).

Kevin Williams, vice president of product development for Avtec, Inc., the leading provider of mission-critical consoles in North America, has been selected to participate in the event and will address issues relevant to the ISV community. “Resellers want to know how Avtec’s Scout console software works with MOTOTRBOTM,” said Williams. “When we designed Scout’s product architecture, we built it with an Ethernet connection directly to the MOTOTRBOTM Connect Plus and IP Site Connect systems. This provides the end-to-end integration the market demands. We have more than a dozen customers using these solutions, and more scheduled deployments in 2012.”

"Motorola Solutions is excited to offer Avtec’s Scout console integrated with MOTOTRBOTM IP Site Connect and MOTOTRBOTM Connect Plus digital radio systems as part of our customer solutions. Avtec was the logical choice for an end-to-end IP console supplier in the markets we target with MOTOTRBO due to their 30-year track record of success and excellent reputation" said Paul Cizek, director, North America Professional/Commercial Radios, Motorola Solutions. "Customers that require centralized dispatch capability on MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect and MOTOTRBOTM Connect Plus via a native IP wire-line interface can use the innovative Avtec Scout console for visibility and access to their mobile workforce, helping to increase both productivity and safety."
