SEE Telecom and Sysoco to renew TETRA infrastructure for BPNL of Lyon

SEE Telecom and Sysoco signed in consortium with Satelec a contract for the renewal of the radio system for the Northern Ring Road of Lyon (BPNL).

The signing of the contract took place March 31, 2016 in Lyon, at the premises of Satelec, between David Caestecker, (works manager at Satelec), Christophe Lebrun (CEO SEE Telecom) and Pierre de Quillaq (CEO Sysoco).

As part of the development of the 10 km long project, including with 6 km of tunnels, SEE Telecom and Sysoco will be responsible for the complete management of the radio coverage renewal.

The project includes:

  • The establishment of new TETRA infrastructure, provided by Sysco.
  • Coverage of the trunked radio system within 6 km of tunnels connecting the TETRA network, the public safety TETRAPOL network (INPT), 16 FM channels with emergency messages insertion. The coverage will be provided by SEE Telecom.

 

All radio networks in the tunnels will be transmitted via a new radiating cable taht will be provided by Kabelwerk Eupen AG.

The activities will take place between 15 July and 15 August, 2016.
