Dutch Parliament to launch ICT investigation in spring

Parliament wants to know what went wrong with certain projects, such as the C2000 TETRA network for Public Safety Services.

Dutch Parliament plans to investigate the failure of large government ICT projects, Automatisering Gids reported.

The government will announce in mid February which company it has selected to carry out the investigation, will should begin in the spring. Parties competing for the contract include Berenschot, the University of Amsterdam, Conquaestor, Insite Advice/Anser Group, K. van den Berg BV, Andersson Elfers Fleics, Acestes Netherlands and Policy Research Corporation Netherlands.

Parliament wants to know what went wrong with certain projects, including the OV Chipcard, C2000 and the Electronic Patient Record.
