More than just another strategic consulting firm, QUIXOTICITY is a radically new concept within the critical communications space.

QUIXOTICITY will make its full expertise and experience available to the critical communications industry to assist ongoing global efforts to secure harmonized spectrum and technology solutions for broadband PMR, while protecting existing investments in narrowband solutions for voice and data communications.

More than just another strategic consulting firm, QUIXOTICITY is a radically new concept within the critical communications space. Critical communications enables professional users, including public safety, emergency services, utilities and transportation companies to carry out essential life-saving and value-adding roles within society in a safe and secure environment for themselves and the public at large.

QUIXOTICITY’s main goal in the immediate future will be to communicate the quantitative and qualitative benefits of critical communications to a wider world so that vital infrastructure can be protected, accurately valued and enhanced. This comes at a time when an approach based on purely commercial interests and rigid financial analysis by private and public organizations populated by theoretical economists has been largely discredited with no clear alternative yet taking its place.

Having been founded by industry stalwart, Peter Clemons, as an alternative knowledge base for communications professionals, QUIXOTICITY has now signed up as a full member of the TCCA to support its global activities. Peter was previously a personal member of the Association for a number of years as well as representing Spanish manufacturer, Teltronic as a Director and Board Member for 2 years.

“I have been working in PMR since 1996 and understand the importance of this industry to the rest of society and the economy. In these testing economic times, it is more important than ever to provide public safety, emergency services, utilities, transport and other professional sectors with the best possible communications tools to protect citizens and build a better future for us all. As an industry, we need to communicate our needs to those in power at every opportunity,” commented QUIXOTICITY’s Managing Director, Peter Clemons, a retiring TCCA Board Member at next month’s AGM, who plans to remain active within TCCA - in particular within its Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG).

“We are delighted to welcome QUIXOTICITY as a TCCA member. Peter has contributed to our success in recent years in a number of ways and it is good to see that his new company has committed to working closely with the TCCA as we move forward with a number of new initiatives,” added Phil Godfrey, Chairman, TETRA + Critical Communications Association.
