Sepura unveils new technology in Middle East

Sepura will be making exciting new product announcements and showcasing its STP8X hand-portable TETRA radio in Dubai.

Sepura, the TETRA digital radio specialist headquartered in Cambridge UK, is stepping up its efforts in the Middle East.
The company, which recently won the International Trade category of Business Weekly’s Awards, plans to leverage the first ever TETRA World Congress to be held in the Middle East by unveiling “exciting new products.”

Sepura hopes to take centre stage at the 14th annual Congress in Dubai, from May 14-17. The showcase hands the region's TETRA users, customers, prospects and channel partners an good opportunity to experience at first hand the latest innovations in Sepura's product portfolio.

Jens Thostrup, senior vice-president at Sepura, spelled out the importance of the opportunity for the company.
He said: “Sepura is focused on converting customer feedback into reliable, robust and secure digital communications solutions and products that address their communications needs in the most exacting environments.

“We're delighted to be attending TWC 2012 and look forward to gaining yet more feedback from those concerned with the mission-critical communications industry.”

He said Sepura would be making exciting new product announcements and showcasing its STP8X hand-portable TETRA radio in Dubai. Compliant with the newly clarified, highly-demanding ATEX and IECEx tests for ruggedness, the STP8X provides optimum reliability in harsh conditions and in potentially explosive gas and dust environments.

Visitors will get the chance to meet Sepura's experts as well as to learn more about the company's initiatives with a number of its key solution partners, who will be present at Sepura's stand.

Thostrup added: “The Middle East is an important market for Sepura. With this year's TWC being held in Dubai, we're eager to further demonstrate our commitment to this region - showcasing how Sepura products can meet local requirements.”
