Mr. Brown will share his insights into the decision-making process to split an 83-year-old company, its re-invention and branding, and why he believes listening to outside sources matter.

On February 8, more than 500 Chicago business leaders are expected to attend The Executives' Club of Chicago's CEO Breakfast at the Ritz Carlton with Greg Brown, chairman and CEO of Motorola Solutions.

Mr. Brown will share his insights into the decision-making process to split an 83-year-old company, its re-invention and branding, and why he believes listening to outside sources matter.

Motorola Solutions is a major employer in the Chicago area, with about 5,000 workers at its Schaumburg headquarters.

"Greg is a dynamic speaker and leader; The Executives' Club's Board and membership are excited to have him share his perspective on developing and driving a performance-based culture", said Melissa Bean, president and CEO, The Executives' Club of Chicago.

Last year, Mr. Brown was appointed by President Obama to the President's Management Advisory Board as well as to the Skills for America's Future Board. Prior to joining Motorola, Mr. Brown was chairman and CEO of Micromuse Inc. and president of Ameritech Custom Business Services and Ameritech New Media Inc.

"The CEO Breakfast series plays a critical role in our community by providing a platform for our executives to share their experiences, insights and strategies with fellow leaders and business professionals," said Deb DeHaas, vice chairman and Central region managing partner, Deloitte LLP.

"Deloitte is proud to sponsor this important forum, and we look forward to working with The Executives' Club to develop compelling content for future programs."

The Executives' Club also is pleased to have gold level sponsorship from CBRE and silver level sponsorship from JPMorgan, which makes its programming possible.
