During the heavy storm, the CIC however, did receive a large number of incoming calls simultaneously

According to ASTRID, during the disaster happening at the Pukkelpop festival, on August 18, the 101 center (CIC) in the province of Limburg did not fail. There were no technical problems. The rumours about this are incorrect. During the heavy storm, the CIC however, did receive a large number of incoming calls simultaneously -  about 680 per hour. The systems are equipped to handle such peaks, but the callers were waiting a bit longer than usual. In these situations the caller should stay on the line. Who hangs up and tries again, is placed back in the que again.
