Montenegro Government has chosen to roll out a TETRA and WiFi network
TETRA will be used for the use of critical communications for government agencies
Montenegro will soon be completely covered by wireless internet signals as the result of an agreement establishing the company Wireless Montenegro as a public-private partnership. The signatories of the contract are the Government of Montenegro and the Austrian company EOSS Holding.
The project foresees the construction of a network using two technology systems - Tetra and Wi-Fi. The first is primarily intended for government agencies, and the second will be used to set up a public wireless network for commercial use. The technology partner is Motorola.
