Hytera TETRA digital products chosen by the Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group

The Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd  is the largest in steel production base western China, China's largest vanadium steel and rail products manufacturing base, China's largest production base of raw materials, titanium chloride and titanium dioxide as well as China's only production base and the world's second largest vanadium producing companies.

To ensure strict implementation of national and industry safety standards, Panzhihua Iron realises that steel production operations in the communication process should be smooth, efficient and accurately. In the steel production process, the blast furnace, converter and other operating procedures are very dangerous. If communication equipment fail, the operator is likely to cause injury. A single intercom function has been difficult to meet the communication requirements of safe production.

Hytera Communications Inc. was requested to provide a number of PT580 TETRA handsets to Panzhihua Iron and Steel, to meet the standards of production scheduling, security and emergency and other daily use.

The Panzhihua has chosen the Hytera TETRA terminal PT580 because of its with high definition voice quality, IP56 dust and waterproof structure and high-grade security features such as alarm and man down.
