"Our Solutions OEM business has also never been busier with opportunities....."

Savox Communications announces it has appointed two individuals to new key positions in order to support its growth strategy.

Thierry Vienney has joined Savox Communications as an Key Account Director, EMEA for the Savox Communications Solutions business. After more than 20 years experience in the analogue and digital radio market, Thierry has extensive experience of managing and growing key accounts throughout EMEA. His long experience in direct sales, management of large accounts and as well as knowledge of the major radio manufacturers and system integrators allows Savox to devote more resource to developing closer relationships with its OEM clients.

Shaun Barry has joined the Savox Communications Defence Solutions business as a Business Development Manager, Europe. Prior to this Shaun led the Business Development for another SME Defence Solutions company for five years. Shaun comes from a technical background having joined the UK Armed Forces in 1979 and serving a two year apprentice at the Army Apprentices Colleague in Harrogate North Yorkshire. Shaun then went onto serve a further 24 years in various roles as a Communications Specialist. Shaun brings to Savox a wealth of knowledge in tactical communications and procurement in the Defence sector.

Henrik Wikstrom, President of Savox Communications states, “We are seeing success across the board, with the Radio Comms business already doing very well this year. In addition to this the Defence Solutions business is seeing more opportunity globally, especially for the ImP, IP based mobile platform  communications solution. With Defence budgets never tighter, the cost performance of ImP is creating much interest. Our Solutions OEM business has also never been busier with opportunities now not only in Europe, but increasingly we are getting more of a foothold in the far east. Many of the major professional radio manufacturers are looking to outsource more of their radio accessories business, with Savox being well positioned to jointly partner in these opportunities.”
