Motorola Solutions seeks big marketshare in the region

UAE is seen as one of the largest Motorola Solutions market in the region.

ABU DHABI — Motorola Solutions MENA sees a big market share in the UAE and other regional countries with the fast growing economies and infrastructure developments, a young but senior official of the company said at IDEX 2011


Ayman Al Rekhaimi, Government and Public Safety Key Accountant Manager at Motorola Solutions Middle East and North Africa (MENA), said they were now one of the leading providers of communications technologies worldwide with customers from across the world.

He also said the UAE with its fast growth in infrastructure developments is seen as one of the largest Motorola Solutions market in the region.

“As the technology is evolving and the country is fast developing, we see the potential of a great client-base here. We provide all kinds of both reliable and secure communications solutions here and the rest of the region,” he added.

He also said their Tetra and Astro technologies, which are international standards used in safe communication, are the most popular products in the region for communications system in all fields - from security perspective to rescue operations. “About two years ago we reached over one million Tetra units worldwide.

Rekhaimi said the company has seen their customer list fast growing and will further grow. “We have lots of customers here - both government agencies and private sector establishments, providing them with tailored solutions. Whatever they demand, we provide the solutions in terms of their convenience,” he explained.

He said the company tailors its solutions according to customers’ needs and demands.”We do it by customer-to-customer basis.”

Rekhaimi said the entire Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is being catered from the regional head office in Dubai with offices in different regional countries.
