TETRA users in Portugal have discovered the quality and advantages of INVISIO's solutions

INVISIO (IVSO) has received an additional order from a previously announced TETRA project in Portugal. The complementary order is again for the headset INVISIO M3, to be used by public safety users in Portugal's current TETRA roll out. The order value is not official but is below 1 MSEK, and the products will be delivered during the second quarter of 2011.

"We received the first order in the end of 2009 and it was an important reference order within the TETRA market for INVISIO. As our products have now been in use for awhile, the users in Portugal have discovered the quality and advantages with INVISIO's solution and has therefore placed an additional order for more headsets", says Lars Højgård Hansen, CEO of INVISIO Communications.

TETRA is a digital radio technology that is used by more and more public safety and commercial organisations across the world. Compared with the old analogue radio network, TETRA has functions that increase the reach and makes the communication clearer, easier and more powerful.

Already in 2009, INVISIO identified the TETRA as a prioritized market, and in Portugal, INVISIO's digitally compatible headsets will be used in an advanced digital communications solution together with radio equipment using TETRA technology.

INVISIO is a member of the SEPURA Solutions Partner Programme, which aims to stimulate growth of new solutions and services for the benefit of the global TETRA user community. With an emphasis on quality, SEPURA is targeting specialist companies that are capable of delivering high-value, commercial-grade solutions and services that genuinely serve public safety needs.
