Teltronic supplied the first public-safety TETRA network in Mongolia. Teltronic’s partner in the region, LG CNS, helped install the system supported by funds from the World Bank. LG CNS’s local partner, MCS Electronics, the country’s second largest mobile operator, also played a key role in setting up the TETRA network.

Teltronic provided the full solution including multisite infrastructure, mobile units and handhelds. A second phase to be undertaken in the near future will include increased coverage of the capital, Ulan Bator and other cities across Mongolia.
