Modirum Gespi and Savox Communications Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Strategic Partnership
The collaboration reinforces Modirum Gespi's leading role in the defence sector and strengthens Brazil's Defence Industrial Base.
Modirum Gespi and Savox Communications, a Finnish leading provider in professional communication and protection solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in the strengthening of Brazil's Defence Industrial Base (BID).
The agreement, formalized through Modirum Gespi's Communication & Power Systems unit, establishes the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership focused on accelerating commercialization in Brazil, and allows for the possibility of initiatives such as local manufacturing and others, bringing Savox´s recognized portfolio to Brazilian defence and public security customers.
As one of Brazil's leading companies in the defence and security sector, Modirum Gespi is ideally positioned to introduce Savox Communications world-class portfolio to the Brazilian law enforcement and Armed Forces market.
The partnership will focus mainly on body- worn cameras and headsets, as well as PTT (Push-To-Talk) units, Savox IMP Intercom systems, Savox Pack-COM wireless team communication systems - solutions that directly address the operational needs of Brazilian defence and public security customers.
Savox Communications will leverage Modirum Gespi’s strong market access and local presence to accelerate go-to-market activities in Brazil, including customer engagement, product demonstrations, evaluations and early deployments. Together, the companies aim to support Brazilian defence and public security modernization needs with proven, mission-critical communications and protection solutions. These products will also be registered as Brazilian Strategic Defense Products (PED).
