TCCA Unveils Packed Global Events Calendar for 2026, From MWC Barcelona to Critical Communications World in London
Industry body maps out a year of international gatherings spanning public safety, 5G innovation, emergency services and mission-critical broadband — with an urgent reminder that ICCA Awards entries close 27 February
The TETRA and Critical Communications Association (TCCA) has published its events calendar for the first half of 2026, confirming a dense schedule of conferences, exhibitions, workshops and summits that will take critical communications professionals from Las Vegas to Hong Kong, Riga, and London. The programme underscores the sector's growing global footprint and the broadening convergence of mission-critical communications with 5G, AI, and smart mobility technologies.
ICCA Awards: Entry Deadline 27 February 2026
Organisations and individuals operating in the critical communications space are reminded that the deadline to submit entries for the International Critical Communications Awards (ICCAs) — presented by TCCA and widely regarded as the sector's most prestigious accolade — falls on 27 February 2026. The awards recognise outstanding achievement across products, organisations and influential individuals who have advanced the field. Winners will be announced at the ICCA Awards Presentation Evening on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, in London, held in conjunction with Critical Communications World. Global 5G Alliances Summit
TCCA Board vice-chair and Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG) chair Tero Pesonen joins global industry leaders at the GSMA-powered Global 5G Alliances Summit (14:30–16:30, Hall 2). Topics include AI and 5G advanced ecosystems, edge intelligence, intelligent public safety, and cross-industry collaboration. In parallel, TCCA CEO Kevin Graham participates in the GSMA Smart Mobility Summit alongside Airbus, Ericsson, and the US Department of Transportation, examining the role of integrated data platforms in realising the connected city. An MWC pass is required for both sessions.

IWCE 2026
The reinvented IWCE returns with expanded programming spanning public safety, utilities, transportation, and enterprise communications. TCCA CEO Kevin Graham will represent the association at the International Public Safety Panel Roundtable on Monday 16 March. BAPCO Annual Event — Free to Attend
The BAPCO Annual Event at the Coventry Building Society Arena brings together emergency services, government agencies, and industry professionals to share operational experience and explore frontline technology solutions. TCCA's Tero Pesonen will present on 6G in The Huddle at 14:45 on 25 March. The event is free to attend for public safety, government, and relevant industry professionals.
15–17 April 2026 | Riga, Latvia
EENA Conference and Exhibition
The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) annual gathering draws more than 100 international experts, 700 participants and 25 exhibitors from over 50 countries. The three-day programme covers emergency response optimisation, next-generation communications, crisis management strategy, and global best practices. TCCA chairman Mladen Vratonjić will be in attendance; visitors are invited to meet the TCCA team at Booth 27.

Critical Communications Asia — NEW Regional Event
TCCA's brand-new regional event, Critical Communications Asia (CC Asia), makes its debut at the Shangri-La Kowloon. The event is designed to bring global knowledge to the Greater Asia community while elevating Asia-Pacific voices on the business requirements for critical communications. Space is limited and registration is already open. TCCA members receive a discount, and a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available.

Critical Communications World 2026
Critical Communications World (CCW) returns to ExCeL London — hosted by the UK Home Office Emergency Services Network — for three days of expert content, networking and technology innovation. CCW is the flagship annual gathering for mission-critical and business-critical communications professionals worldwide. Professional Training: The Critical Communications Institute
Alongside the events programme, TCCA points professionals to the Critical Communications Institute — developed in partnership with Wray Castle — which offers specialist training across TETRA, LTE, 5G, and Mission Critical Broadband technologies.
