TPL Systemes, a leading provider of innovative critical messaging solutions and eDMR solutions , continues to advance the construction of its upcoming plastics processing unit in Sarlat. This week, the project achieved a significant milestone with the successful installation and certification of a state-of-the-art industrial overhead crane.

The newly installed overhead crane, designed to handle loads up to 4 tons, underwent stringent load testing certified by Apave, a recognized inspection authority. The crane will enable the safe and efficient handling of heavy molds and tools, underscoring TPL Systemes’ commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence. The addition of this strategic equipment is a key step in the creation of a modern, high-performance workshop environment.

This injection plant marks an important component of TPL Systemes’ ongoing “100% Made in France” strategy. By investing in domestic manufacturing capabilities, TPL Systemes aims to enhance agility, exercise greater control over production processes, and drive innovation for the benefit of its customers. The new facility will allow the company to better respond to customer needs by ensuring faster turnaround times and maintaining high standards of quality.

“Our investment in this new plastics processing unit reflects our dedication to reinforcing our French manufacturing base,” said Company Director David Villacastin. “The installation of the overhead crane is a major achievement in the development of a facility designed for advanced production and safety standards. We look forward to the next phase of the project and to continuing to serve our clients with superior products produced entirely in France.”

The next major milestone in the project’s timeline will be the delivery and installation of advanced injection moulding machines, scheduled for September. These new machines will further enhance the facility’s production capabilities, supporting TPL Systemes’ mission to offer innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
