Carbyne Strengthens Leadership Team Appointing Gal Peretz as Head of AI

Peretz brings a decade of experience leading companies forward in the age of AI, with a focus on data safety. The strategic appointment of Peretz signals Carbyne’s continued efforts in leading the AI revolution for the public safety industry.

Peretz joins Carbyne from Torq, where he served as Head of Artificial Intelligence and Data. Prior to Torq, Peretz worked at IBM and Microsoft as a foundation engineer of Azure IoT & Data Security, where he developed cloud-based threat detection capabilities. Peretz also leads a global community of over 6,000 AI developers as the host of LangTalks, a leading podcast on AI engineering that provides strategic guidance on how to build agentic applications for real production use. Peretz has a master’s degree from the Technion, where his thesis was based on generating code from natural language questions.
