Rohde & Schwarz today announced its R&S ZNA vector network analyzer, the world’s first purely touch-display operated analyzer, has been recognized in the Electronics Industry Awards. In the third year of ceremony, hosted online for the first time, the Rohde & Schwarz analyzer took home an award in the Test, Measurement & Inspection Product of the Year category. This category recognizes a test, measurement and inspection product that has made a significant impact on the market and shows exceptional performance and innovation.

The R&S ZNA vector network analyzer provides a universal test platform for characterizing active and passive devices under test. It offers four internal, phase-coherent sources, allowing independent control of the signal's frequency at each port as well as phase measurements on mixers. It provides two internal LO sources, a true multichannel receiver architecture, pulse generators and modulators, an internal combiner and comprehensive trigger and synchronization capabilities.

The analyzer offers an outstanding dynamic range of up to 170 dB (typ. with options), essential for measurements on high-rejection filters. Across the aerospace and defense sector, the analyzer is suited not only to active and passive components, but also transmitter/receiver modules, converter and satellite subsystems. It can be used in antenna measurement systems, as well as for antenna characterization.

Furthermore, the R&S ZNA is the world's first purely touch-operated vector network analyzer, using a 12.1" touchscreen as the main display and a 7" touchscreen instead of a hardkey panel. Together with the DUT-centric approach, the second touchscreen provides a seamless user experience.
