Critical Communications World (CCW), the leading conference and exhibition dedicated to connecting critical communications professionals, is marking its 20th anniversary by delivering what promises to be the most informative event to date.

To be held at the Messe Berlin ExpoCenter from 15th-17th May 2018, CCW is produced by TCCA alongside newly installed organisers, MA Exhibitions, with sponsorship from Motorola Solutions, Leonardo, Airbus and Frequentis. This year’s show will feature an all-new Technology Showcase, with a Control Room Arena, Drone Zone and Connected Vehicle Zone all demonstrating the latest advancements in critical communications technology.

The first day of the event will be packed with Masterclasses led by some of the industry’s leading experts in mission critical communications, including Dr Barbara Held, German Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS); Robin Davis from Actica; Nick Smye, Mason Advisory, and Philippe Agard, Nokia. Days two and three will feature presentations, panels and Q&As on the opportunities and challenges facing the critical communications industry, with speakers including Adrian Scrase, CTO, ETSI, Thomas Scholle, Technology Director, BDBOS, and Paul Steinberg, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Motorola Solutions.

Mladen Vratonjić, TCCA Chairman, said: “As we celebrate 20 years of CCW, we would like to thank everyone at BDBOS for the support they are providing as host operator for the event. The unprecedented interest in this year’s show demonstrates the critical importance of communications for safety and security to organisations across the globe. We would like to thank all our valued speakers and sponsors ahead of what promises to be another memorable event.”

Tony Gray, TCCA Chief Executive, commented: “In today’s world, with the increased threats to safety and security, a thorough knowledge and understanding of critical communications is paramount. It is vital that experts in this space continue to meet, collaborate and share ideas to drive the evolution of the industry and enhance the ability of communications to safeguard our communities.”
