Rohill to deliver TetraNode for Statoil - Johan Castberg

Rohill’s partner TC Connect has been awarded by Statoil to supply TETRA radio communication systems to the Johan Castberg FPSO.

The Johan Castberg (formerly Skrugard) field is situated approximately 100 kilometres north of the Snøhvit-field in the Barents Sea. The Johan Castberg field development concept includes a FPSO vessel and extensive subsea development, with a total of 30 wells, 10 subsea templates and two satellite structures.

The contract covers supply of digital radio communication solution (TETRA) and includes Rohill TetraNode systems for the infrastructure, ensuring radio coverage on the entire platform. The agreement includes both product delivery and deployment services.
