Sepura to provide TETRA communications system to Lebanon Internal Security Forces

This contract marks the first of several phases to build a new nationwide communications system for the Lebanese Internal Security Forces.

Sepura announces the award of a contract to its strategic partner Scientia Global, Inc., by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (DOS INL) for Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces – Land Mobile Radio (LISF-LMR) Project.

Sepura celebrates this sales success in conjunction with Scientia Global Inc., a professional services company based in Florida, USA.

The new TETRA infrastructure will be implemented in the Beirut and Mt. Lebanon Governorates and it includes several TETRA base station sites, several control rooms, a switching center and a microwave backhaul communications network. The new system has been designed to be highly reliable and redundant in order to meet current communications requirements while providing growth capacity and a clear migration path for the technology.
