Sepura joins EmSEC 2013 in Dubai

Today and tomorrow the EmSEC 2013 (Emirates Security Exhibition and Conference) will be held in the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

EmSEC is a premier platform for showcasing world technologies and solutions for law enforcement and public security applications. This event is designed to support and encourage the exporting efforts of UK companies and companies new to this particular market. Following the success of the 2011 and 2012 events, the Dubai Police will host an exhibition, conference and one to one meetings over two days
 
Understanding the local culture and business practices is paramount to be successful in the region. EmSEC provides that knowledge. Recent years have seen the region looking for a wide range of solutions in the homeland security sector especially in border security as refugees flee conflict areas in surrounding countries. With the evolving asymmetrical threat, concepts and ever changing risk perceptions, smaller and more niche technology companies, such as British and European firms, have been very active and successful in these markets.
 
Dubai Police expect over 1000 invited visitors from over 90 countries. Their target visitors are key personnel from government departments in the GCC countries, Asia, ME, Africa and Europe and Dubai Police are keen to see UK companies supplying the equipment listed overleaf. The conference will introduce a range of local and international speakers who are experts in their fields and leaders in knowledge of the local, regional and international affairs. There are also opportunities for exhibitors to speak in the 15 minute presentation slots scheduled throughout the daily conferences.
