TETRA to be used in world-wide Military Games 2011 in Brazil

The system consists of infrastructure of the German company Rohde & Schwarz with a total of 1600 portable radios and 240 mobile radios.

The world-wide Military Games 2011 will occur from the 16th to the 24th of July in Rio De Janeiro. To guarantee efficient communications during the event the communications system is based on the TETRA technology and will be used in combination with TETRA radios from Sepura.

The Military Games, also known as “5te World-wide the Military Games of the CISM”, are a multi-sportive event that more than groups 6000 athletes of more than 100 countries in 20 different modalities. This event is the biggest sportive event of the world, and is the first time that it will happen in a country of America.
