TC Connect AS has entered into a framework agreement with the Health Service's organization for the emergency services network HF (HDO).

The health service's operational organization for emergency networks HF (HDO) is a company with the main responsibility for the operation and management of control room solutions and radio terminals connected to the Nødnet emergency network in Norway.

HDO has chosen TC Connect AS as a supplier of an emergency alerting solution, that alerts the emergency services via Nødnett emergency network.

"We are proud to have an agreement in place with HDO, and we look forward to the collaboration in the coming years, says Harald Bergby, CEO of TC Connect AS."

The agreement is a framework agreement with HDO, which will apply for two years with the right to an extension for 1 + 1 years. The agreement deals with a solution for Nødnett, which is owned and managed by the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning. It is estimated that the value of the agreement will be NOK 25-30 million.

The Multi Alert solution that is part of the agreement, is provided by IHM P/S, which has developed the solution. IHM has for more than 35 years been represented with solutions in the Norwegian market.

"The agreement with HDO is very important to us and fits in well with our strategy of being a leader in control room solutions and equipment for use in emergency networks. The solution included in the framework agreement will provide emergency network users with an effective communication solution and a good overview of available resources", Bergby explains.

In addition to HDO itself, all organizational units where HDO has full or partial operational responsibility, have the right to use the framework agreement.
