On the opening day of World Defence Expo (WDS) 2026, Specialized by stc highlighted its latest critical communications solutions, underscoring a shared industry focus on readiness, resilience, and operational continuity in demanding environments.
As part of its presence at the event, Specialized by stc announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ericsson. The agreement sets out a strategic collaboration to jointly develop mission-critical communications solutions aimed at enhancing reliability and supporting the preparedness of vital sectors through secure and resilient systems.
Under the MoU, both organizations will work together on the development of advanced capabilities, including encrypted solutions and priority communications for emergency scenarios. The collaboration will involve trials, testing, and proof-of-concept activities, creating a structured framework for joint innovation and the development of integrated, future-ready solutions.
During WDS 2026, Specialized by stc also showcased its mission-critical satellite communication solutions, designed to ensure continuity of operations and sustained readiness in the most challenging operational conditions. These solutions reflect the company’s focus on enabling dependable communications where terrestrial networks may be limited or unavailable.
