Huawei releases new Whitepaper and Case Book on Public Transport Communications
Under the theme of "Leading New ICT, Building a Better Connected Railway," Huawei will present, at InnoTrans 2016, a wide range of advanced rail transport ICT solutions to be explored exclusively at thier exhibition stand.
Furthermore, during the exhibition the company is organising a dedicated Huawei side event — Huawei Global Railway Summit 2016 on September 21.
This summit will serve as a platform for rail customers, operators and integrators to exchange ideas and broaden visions of the future of rail businesses and development, and to share success stories of innovative ICT implementations in the rail sector.
Huawei Railway Case Book
As Huawei is dedicated to promote the adaption and application of innovative ICT solutions in the railway industry, through its eLTE, GSM-R, Cloud Computing, BYOD & Agile Network Solutions, the company has also launched a new case book. This case book provides some examples on how Huawei applies latest ICT solutions in the railway environments.
RAMS Whitepaper
In addition, Huawei launched a new Whitepaper on RAMS, short for reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety. RAMS is a standard used to assess the non-functional quality of a system. RAMS was first used in the aviation industry, then in the rail transportation, military, and other fields. Now, RAMS has become a corner stone of rail transport. Almost every rail transport project contains RAMS deliverables.
